OUR STORY

A passion born from pattern and material.

Bleu Cobalt Paris is a handpainted designs workshop founded in 2015 by Maud Péneau and Coralie Camarassa Ferreira.

Originally founded in Paris and now based in Nantes, the studio creates original artworks for fashion, interior design and the decorative arts. Each project begins with drawing and painting, in a practice where the hand remains central and where the traces of the artist’s touch play a key role in the expression of the image.

At the crossroads of textile design, ornamentation and contemporary craftsmanship, Bleu Cobalt develops a world inspired by colour, materials, plant forms, architecture and decorative skills. The creations are built up slowly, layer by layer, leaving room for intuition, happy accidents and discoveries that emerge as the work progresses.
